An Introduction to Crystals & Their Uses - Angie Smith 10.45 - 11.45

Healing stones, crystals and semi-precious gemstones come from one unified source - Mother Earth. A magical and symbolic connection has always existed between human beings and and gems, evidence of gemstones used in healing has been found as far back as the fourth millennium before Christ. Ancient civilisations such as Egypt, China, Sumeria, Rome & Greece as well as Shaman and Medicine Men have used gemstones for for healing in many ways, made into powders or elixirs, worn, carried or placed upon the body in rituals and ceremonies. Today Angie will be looking at a few crystals and how we can use their energy.

Just how good could you feel after attending this workshop for 60 minutes? We carry so much baggage and dross around with us, sometimes for a whole lifetime, adding more here and there until we clear it. One way to see this is as a way to defuse or eliminating an emotional charge or charges. Sweeping away conditioning and patterns that do not serve any useful purpose. These may have been around for the whole of the individuals lifetime and a part of this can have been carried forward from another lifetime/s. All that is required is the desire to sort out the problem.

The Way of Awen- Honouring your Sacred Creativity with Kevan Manwaring MA, 3rd Bard of Bath 3.45 - 5.00

We are all naturally creative - it is only when we block our creative expression that dis-ease occurs. The Way of Awen is about opening those creative channels; expressing yourself - in any art form and in daily life; and honouring your deep soul self. Kevan Manwaring has been following a creative path all his life, initially as an artist and for the last twenty years as a writer and storyteller/poet, winning the Bardic Chair of Caer Badon in 1998.
